Plants in Antarctica

Recently scientist noticed some plants growing in Antarctica which is totally covered by ice. Although it looks nice, the Scientists isn’t considering this as a good thing. It is totally clear that our climate is changing badly all over the world.

Is it normal?

Well, the answer is no. No one noticed that kind of natural act like this in Antarctica in previous time. But recently some plants are growing in noticeable rate, even they are also flowering recently. And the environment-specialist and other scientists considering this as a threat. Because it is impossible to grow any plants in that temperature where ice is everywhere as well.

Type of plants growing in Antarctica!

Basically there are two kind of plants growing there. Those are Antarctic Hairgrass & Antarctic Pearlwort. And those plants are flowering as well. from 2010-2023 the number of flowering and growing plants are so numerous that it is almost 10 times more that the previous period 1968-2009. In addition to that other plants are growing in Antarctica as well, which increased almost 5 times more than before. In the very beginning those plants were seen in a particular area but it is now growing almost everywhere.

Reason behind growing Plants in Antarctica ?

Some scientists from an university of Australia noticed this act for the first time. They have noticed this change in last 20 years. Plants in Antarctica..

Scientists think Global warming is the biggest reason for this change. And there are also some human act which can be the reason for this. Such as the number of researchers are increasing day by day, and by their stuffs and foods, the seeds of the plants can be spread out. They think that the present plants has spread out by some scientist from very previous period.

However, we should be more aware about our global environment and climate, neither it can bring a huge disaster for human being.
